Our Rooms

The Arkleside boasts seven letting rooms on the first floor in the main part of the house and a Mews cottage* (all ground floor) just across the courtyard.

Our accommodation is made up from a mixture of double and twin en-suite rooms all with shower cubicles and a further twin room with private bathroom.

Our rooms provide a cosy and comfortable stay and are all equipped with Colour television, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, wardrobes or hanging space, oil fired central heating, freshly laundered towels and complimentary toiletries.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.15am (last cooked at 9am) in the restaurant. There are cereals, yoghurts and fruit juice, along with fresh tea and coffee. We then serve your choice of cooked breakfast, consisting of:

Pork Sausage, Bacon, Mushrooms, Cooked Tomatoes, Beans, your choice of egg (poached, fried or scrambled) along with white or brown toast.

Smoked Haddock is available by pre-ordering the day before.

A handful of our rooms are fortunate enough to overlook The Arkleside garden and have stunning views of Fremington Edge. 

Guests may check in after 3pm (or by pre arranged time)

All rooms and areas of the hotel are strictly no smoking

Dogs

For our dog lovers we are delighted to say that we have allocated a limited number of rooms for our guests who wish to bring their dogs (well behaved dogs only please). Please call for availability as these rooms are very popular.
